Bummed I didn’t try the birria which they are supposed to be known for based on the reviews which I only read just now. We had gone based on recommendation from a friend for fish tacos as husband was craving fish tacos, so for once I didn’t check both Google and yelp reviews ahead of time. I tried the beef tongue and tripe tacos which were both interesting. Beef tongue was tender and tasty. Would not get the tripe again, it was deep fried and little pieces which I didn’t...

Great veggie burrito and veggie taco…best in the Mission in my opinion. They also have a lot of different salsa options. One last thing is that the times I’ve been there, they always give you warm tortilla chips.

I am so glad that a friend dragged me out for Cinco de Mayo, and especially that he picked El Patron. Like every other restaurant that night it was crowded, but the staff was very attentive, smiling, and friendly the whole time.

And the food! The best tacos I've ever had in 20 years in San Francisco for sure. These aren't those little wimpy appetizer tacos you get some places. Three tacos and I was absolutely full.
