This is such a great neighborhood spot. They have an amazing selection of organic and natural wines if that's your thing, and it's always buzzing with friendly locals popping in for a drink and a chat. Def go for the tasting that changes up at least weekly, it's usually a great deal and good way to try wines you wouldn't usually encounter.
Tala and her team have done a fantastic job bringing this wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Lovely wine bar. Friendly staff who recommended an excellent wine. Went for pop up holiday high tea and had a great time. Can't wait to visit again.

We just stopped by here to check out their natural wine selection and the owner spent a ton of time helping us pick out some bottles! She’s very knowledgeable and her selection has good representation of different regions and varieties.
Been here few times now and every time has been a real pleasure! First time was when they were hosting some jazz artists- the wine, the ambiance, was fantastic. Every wine I’ve had here has been exceptional as well. Learned a lot about natural wines from Adela during a tasting (rotates weekly), who is knowledgeable and super friendly. Recommend you pay a visit!
I try to go weekly to Tala because both Tala and Adela are incredibly welcoming. I am not someone who is usually comfortable going by myself to grab a drink, but at Tala it is not an issue. It is a welcoming wine bar and very representative of the neighborhood. I always go for any sparkling wine and the conversation is always great! Every so often I run into neighborhood locals and reminiscing is so fun. I have also met newcomers to the neighborhood and I find that they see the Excelsior for what it is-unique, welcoming, and open-minded. Yes, we are and more!!!
I value this neighborhood because I grew up here and I have also opened up a business here. I own Love and Light Yoga and Tala and I support each other’s businesses. If you are a native of the neighborhood or are new to the neighborhood, we are here for you and depend on your support to continue offering you a unique neighborhood experience. Cheers to the Excelsior and to women-owned businesses!
Tala and staff are amazing- very knowledgeable and friendly; they have amazing wines with a conscientious and very reasonable price tag . I love this place.

I love this place. GREAT wine selection. But not snobby at all. Very neighborhoody. Lots of regulars. Well worth crossing the city for even if you don't live in the neighborhood.
Tala Wine is a neighborhood gem! They serve delicious wines and Tala is so knowledgeable. She’s taught me so much about wine! Great ambiance and amazing food pop ups!
Tala and Natasha are the best. Their natural wine is amazing

Tala Wine has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. I've met more Excelsior residents in the past few months than I've met in the many years that I have lived here. So happy this has opened up here! Wonderful wine (and a great beer selection), delicious food (there are different pop ups each week, sometimes multiple times in one week) and great company.
