Sadly, this location has gone downhill since I lived in sf 4 years ago. The al pastor was one of my favorites in the city, and this time, it was the least interesting. I didn't even see the trompo anymore, so it might be made off-site now. The carne asada was delicious.
Fast and friendly service. Food was FANTASTIC. We got the veggie and al pastor burritos topped with a delicious red salsa. I would say the only thing I noticed from our trip to Mexico city is that the al pastor there was sliced really thin and here it was more chunky.
Came here for the first time in 10 years and it basically hasn't changed. RIP burritoeater.com
Super burritos still the size of an adult forearm.
Al pastor is good but no trompo here so I think El Farolito has the edge there.
