I have been going to this location for over 15 years, and there is a reason I keep going back. The two guys who work the register have always remembered me, even if I don't go for a couple of months. They always strike up a brief conversation and make me feel great. The food is delicious, they are open late, and if I were still local, I would visit them much more often. But almost every time I'm in SF, I try to stop by.

I have ordered the same burrito at literally EVERY taqueria on Mission St. This is (and for the past 30 years has been) the best taqueria in SF (and now Oakland and Concord have locations with the same comida Mexicana autentica and recipe.) The Salsa Verde/aguacate is worth the visit by itself. Trust. And if you think it’s weird for a quesadilla to have Swiss cheese, try the quesadilla Suiza with Carne Asada on the side of your Super Birrito or dinner plate. The. Best. Period....

Bland burritos.. but fresh. Extremely fresh and generous sized tacos but the meats are all just okay. Tried their carne asada, tripas, carnitas, and cabeza. They come out piping hot but none of them are standout. Overall super unimpressed and overhyped.
