This is a hard review to write. My family and I had been coming to this restaurant for about 10 years and we really enjoy their food. The way we were treated tonight however has left us not wanting to eat here again. Posted closing time is 9pm. We were calmly enjoying our meal and quality time together, starting to wrap up around 8:15pm and our waitress abruptly places the check on our table without us having asked for it or giving us a chance to order dessert. At the same time, staff starts turning chairs upside down and cleaning the entire place with bleach, making us and the other remaining paying customers feel unwelcomed and pushed out. I briefly went to use the bathroom and found that the entire bathroom and area around it was soaked in bleach, my shoes and socks ended up wet. Upon returning to the table, my sister puts her card down and before my mother and I had a chance to put ours, the check is rapidly taken away. When the server brings it back I mention that I felt they were being rude by rushing us out and making us feel unwelcome a full 30 minutes before posted closing time, she did not apologize and simply gave me an ugly look. We felt very unwelcomed and saddened, especially after coming here for so many years. We will be seeking out a new favorite sushi spot in SF. We hope the business can learn from this, be more clear about when they actually close and not make paying customers feel like a burden on them.

Happy hour is amazing! Great prices on nigiri, rolls, and drinks until 6:30pm.We also ordered seafood sonomono which was HUGE!!! Great prices for everything.The best part is all their seafood is sustainably sourced.Dietary restrictions: They will make anything gluten free upon request.

Incredible, absolutely amazing.They even made sure I understood the substitute crab had some crab mixed in just in case I had an allergy. And the California roll is exceptional.Definitely worth it, even better on happy hour

Sashimi and brussel sprouts were excellent! Very fresh and full of flavor. The rolls were also fresh but we didn't love the flavor combinations. They do have several spicy options and if you like the heat then you should give them a try! Staff were friendly and the service was quick.

I was enticed by their happy hour menu with $6 sushi. On a Thursday night they had a good amount of people in the restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive but nothing out of the ordinary. The happy hour rolls come with 5 slices. These rolls were good but nothing to write home about. I'd say this is a place where you're getting what you pay for, at least for happy hour. I'd come here again but probably wouldn't crave it.

Great hole in the wall spot serving simple, delicious sushi rolls. Tried this place for the 4:30-6:30 every day happy hour. There was a selection of $6 drinks - beers, margs, sangria, and more. Also, there were a selection of $6 sushi rolls, including 3 vegetarian rolls - sweet tempura, mixed veggie, and veggie tempura. 5 bites each but you couldn't go wrong picking any of those three rolls. Pro Tip: Get the garlic edamame- it's simply addicting!

I am shocked. The sushi here truly blew my mind. The double double roll and the spicy crunchy tuna are incredible, and truly just as good as some of the rolls I’ve gotten at the highest end sushi places. The happy hour deal is amazing and cheap for such good food. The vegetable gyoza was also exceptional. Amazing execution for a great price. This is a must try!
