Glad to see that it's still going strong after 30 plus years of dining there. Not thrilled about the earlier hours for the kitchen. The food remains a solid B+, but the service, atmosphere and 2:00 a.m. closing time get you very close to five stars.

The Brazen Head has such a cozy, hidden-gem feel to it. It’s one of those spots that instantly feels welcoming the moment you walk in—dim lighting, friendly service, and that classic old-school charm. The food was hearty and flavorful, especially the steak, cooked just right and paired with great sides. It’s not flashy, but that’s exactly what makes it so good. Perfect place for a relaxed dinner and a good cocktail away from the crowds.

Food is a little pricey, but the taste and the staff more than makes up for it in my opinion. Definitely a stop I will be making again!

BH is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The food, cocktails, and company are great. Staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. Just far enough from the main drags so that people come intentionally, which makes for a great vibe. Try the Montenegro!

Great classic cocktails, loved the wooden bar and cozy atmosphere. It felt like a classy medieval tavern that doled our dirty martinis.
The escargot and steaks are a must!

This is a neighborhood staple! Love coming here on a weekday for drinks at the bar or dinner on the weekends, either way it’s always the best. Everything on the menu is delicious, the service is excellent and friendly and the vibe is fun and relaxing.

Came here by a recommendation, menu all looked really good. I decided on the prime rib dinner, it was very delicious, baked potato and a side of broccoli. Very delicious, ate at the bar and service was great. Would definitely come back again when I'm in the area. Gets very busy for dinner and I can see why.

Came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 21st birthday and spent over $400 on food. When it came time for dessert, this is what they brought out a plate with just a candle on it. We told them it was her birthday, and only after this was brought out did they tell us that they have cake. They assumed we wanted something for free, but we didn’t mind paying for dessert. At the very least, offer an option or let us know ahead of time. This felt like a slap in the face on what should have been a special night. Definitely not coming back.

One of my favorite restaurants in SF - so cozy, great service (shoutout to Breanne - always so bubbly and kind), fair prices and great drinks. Anyone I’ve ever brought has loved this spot. The petite filet + loaded baked potato is a staple, and all the appetizers and desserts are a must try!

Very nice Brazen Head! Top to bottom, well done. Braised short rib was tender. But the lobster ravioli stole the show. Service was amazing too. A must try!
