The Chieftain Irish Pub & Restaurant

Love it here! I work a lot so whenever I get the chance to go out, I make sure to stop by here.

I stayed in San Francisco for an evening prior to boarding a cruise to Alaska. The Chieftain is a classic Irish pub! I had their Tri tip steak. The food was awesome along with the service. If back in San Fran, I’ll be back!

I like to visit this place with my wife, the attention is excellent, the food is good and the atmosphere is quite pleasant.

This place is on the Bay to Breakers race route. Stopped by for a drink while running by. Ate here years ago and it was good. Authentic Irish fare and environment.

This place is great, gives me the same feeling I had at the Black Rose in Boston

Bartender was very rude! This was my second time coming by. First time both the bartender and the server were rude and pocketing cash, charging both of my parties twice! Unfortunately my friend wanted to meet here again. After dealing with the rude bartender, we had one drink and left. Better bar around the corner, where the staff are welcoming! Won’t be coming back!

Amazing place! Saw it while driving and immediately turned around. Best decision ever! Great food, great drinks, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend! Will be my go to spot in SF!
