Very convenient location, like the set up, just a bit too noisy with tables very close together. Service & food was great, nice selection of finger foods and tea.

Outstanding experience. Service was excellent. Thank you Noe for being so accommodating and helpful to find us the perfect table and continue with 5 star service throughout our stay. THANK YOU for making our first dining experience at The Rotunda the best ever.

Curt service. Anniversary note on the table but no anniversary greeting or acknowledgement from server and no customary anniversary mini cake. Tea tower items mediocre. Gout Russe Tea was good.

We had a beyond lovely time at the Rotunda! I took a friend here for lunch for her birthday. This gem of a restaurant never disappoints. Thank you for another incredibly charming experience.

Beautiful window table, reservation was honored even though we were early. Delicious Beausoleil oysters. Great burger & lobster club sandwiches. Service was excellent.

Always a treat to dine at the Rotunda. The ambiance says it all, and topping it off with the best service from greeting of the hostess to our server. They even had a “Happy Birthday” note and a complimentary birthday dessert for us!

Best place to celebrate your birthday in the afternoon. Service is amazing! Lovely setup! I enjoyed it and will come back to try their regular menu.

Celebrated a birthday with tea service during our recent visit. Our waitress Megan was wonderful. Attentive, fast, friendly. Excellent service! Food was good aside from the tea tower we also order lobster bisque and truffle fries. Everything was great and will definitely be back again.

Wonderful food, service and ambiance, also a fun place to people watch — one of the few places left where people bother to dress in style. I had the fabled airline chicken — it may sound like airplane food but definitely does not taste like airplane food! The cuisine is top notch, something I didn't expect from a department store restaurant. Only wish the Rotunda was open for dinner!

I'm very surprised with the experience I received. Something went wrong I guess. I stated the Reason for the Visit as Birthday, and in Special Requests I asked for the nice view if possible, b/c birthday girl is a recent widow and have not been in city for a while. I got the view table, but I did not get the little bday candle/cake, and I found service to be interrupting with constant questions if everything is ok. It is ok if two people are deeply in covernsation, and note was given that one is a recent widow so no good reason to ask every 15 min if everything is ok. As to food - it was ok but closer to mediocre and not matching the ambinace (still there, hooray!). My lobster club sandwich was all right but on the pricey side. Friend's lobster salad for the money paid was pretty scarce. We did get two excellent deserts to wrap it up, warm chocolate cake and currant walnut something - delicious. I like to bring my guests here for special occasion/ambiance/nostalgy but this time something was off . I'm glad the ambiance is still there. If you are looking for recommendations - order Tea Service rather than what's on menu. Elegant and tasty, worthy experience.

Our waiter was nice and helped us celebrate a birthday. The value was an entirely worth it but I did enjoy the tea although my favourite tea was not available

We had to wait until 2:10 for our 1:45pm reservation. But the ambience is grand, servers were polite and efficient, and the food was better than expected. My husband praised both the lobster bisque and the burger. My porcini-truffle soup was intense, like thin gravy, but tasty. The tuna tartare tasted fresh but lacked “punch.” We thoroughly enjoyed having lunch at the Rotunda and hope to return soon.
