We tried TWICE on two consecutive days to eat breakfast when this place says it opens at 7 am. Both times it was pitch black inside, door locked and gate pulled shut. Yet they list here their hours as starting at 7 am. Not a great way to welcome potential customers. And two days in a row, really?

I love The Grind. Several vegan options but I always get the tofu scramble. It's delicious. They've got good coffee too.

Literally the nicest guys you will ever come across. I would come here everyday if I lived here just for a mental pick me up. An iced vanilla latte was only $5.50 as well, CANNOT beat that. Good coffee, good vibes, good price!
Great little diner that's an especially good choice for breakfast or brunch. They have a very long menu with every breakfast option you can think of, so it's a great place to come with a group. I've tried a number of dishes and they've all been tasty.
They have a nice outdoor patio and also a reasonable amount of indoor seating. The staff is friendly and efficient. This place often has a long line, especially on weekend mornings.

Best cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel. Really wide range of choices from pancakes, waffles and sandwiches and burgers for everyone in the family

This is my favorite spot in Lower Haight. Huge menu with lots of variety and friendly staff. Great coffee, and my favorite is the French toast!

Service was amazing and personable, food was great, coffee was great, and the beans are cheap. Highly recommend because it also seems like an awesome community space!

Very nice diner for its food and quality. Don't skip it. PLEASEEE. Make it known to all visitors to come by this place. The social milieu here calls for a quiet environment. Would come back again, especially if you have and call for a large party of workers. Staff are phenomenal.

Came for breakfast and coffee. Great breakfast for the value. Had the avocado bagel which was hearty. Looking around, other dishes also were substantial at decent prices. It was packed on the weekend, and understandable so. Recommend for sure.

It's a diner, fine diner food, nothing fancy. Good eggs, hash browns, etc. decent bagels. Big salads. I guess there are burgers too. Coffee isn't great but you can grab a science lab cappuccino next door at the fancy bike duds shop.
Stumbled across The Grind and had an amazing brunch. Great menu with good prices.
Very nice. Good food and service
