Nouvelle Asian cuisine. We enjoyed the tasting menu, which offered many delicious and artistically presented courses including two desserts, all for a reasonable (by San Francisco standards) $120 per person + drinks + taxes + tips, bringing the actual total to $200 per person.

Lucky Crane is a lovely dinner spot serving elevated Chinese–Western fusion dishes. The chefs take classic Chinese cuisine and cleverly reimagine it into something unique, flavorful, and tasteful. Presentation is spot-on—like the shrimp, which was plated so well we didn’t even need to use our hands. The service is equally impressive, with friendly and attentive waiters who make you feel well taken care of. Definitely worth checking out!
I am uncertain about this spot. Not a bad experience in the big picture, but a few hang ups. The lack of a wine by the glass under $20 is absurd. Under the veil of ‘wanting to elevate the wine list’ as told by the server, I am not impressed by this snobbery as someone who has eaten at plenty of world class restaurants who have no issue providing a respectable option.
