We had a very late dinner at Old Ship Saloon after a night tour out at Alcatraz, and we couldn't have had a better experience. When we arrived, it was busy but not crowded, and even though the hour was late (9:30 pm), we were able to get amazing food. As the tavern filled up with people attending conferences or in the Business District, it felt loud but fun, and we weren't rushed out of our table or denied excellent service. No reason to give less than 5 stars. The atmosphere is usually great, I especially like the layout of the bar in center.
Acoustics can be quite challenging, food is rather unhealthy standard US pub stuff, but overall great place!
