A bit chaotic on the weekends but worth wait time and chaos.
Paid $23 for a banana split with a half scoops of ice cream. Went and ordered a waffle cone and let the cashier know about the banana split and she couldn’t care less did not offer any type of solution. When we picked up the waffle cone it had another flavor mixed in to the butter pecan I ordered. We’ve come here every time we are on vacation and probably won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other places to get ice cream that won’t short you on your scoops.
Awesome Deserts to indulge
We ordered Hot Brownie Fudge Sundae which was utterly delicious. The Hot Cocoa classic was good as well. The place was packed, so we waited for them to clear a table for two. You place your buzzer in the middle of your table, and someone brings your order.
Be warned that the prices are really high - nearly $19 for one sundae! This is a major tourist trap, in California, and you are paying for, well, the experience.
One of the most disappointing food experiences I’ve ever had. $18 for a chocolate sundae that hardly had any flavor. Also had to wait to 30 minutes after I ordered to even receive it! Definitely overhyped and would not recommend
Very nice place but very very expensive. And they added extra service charge too. Not sure if worth it maybe for one time experience but not again.
Everything we bought was delicious. Just wish they had more seating. It's a neat place.
Sundaes are nice but the one by the road is mayhem.
Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience is more hype than heaven.
Sure, it’s iconic and looks great on Instagram, but the sundaes? Just okay. Overpriced for what you get standard ice cream, heavy syrup, and a whole lot of waiting in line. If you’re already in the area, it’s fine for a quick sugar fix or the novelty. But definitely not the best sundae you’ll ever have, despite what the crowds might suggest
This place was so cute! Very busy and small gift shop but super cool to see! Bring back the earthquake sundae!!!

Choc lovers sundae is the best ever
Good place to spend some time with family it has plenty of space not crowded and good deals on rhe best choices of chocolates and ice creams Anand part of the great history of chocolate here good experience
Amazing chocolates.
Bad quality ice cream. Brownies are never impressive.
Waited way too long for a couple of sundaes when it wasn’t very busy, but the sundae itself was pretty good. However, everything was way too pricey for the average family. Spent significantly more on 4 sundaes (2 mini) than my family did for our gigantic dinner.
If you walk around they have some nice views of the bay.
