Crunchy, flavorful, delicious hot wings. Heated comfortable back patio that is dog friendly.

The food is very good, the service is generally terrible. I used to come here frequently when I lived around the corner a dozen years ago. I live out of the neighborhood now and come rarely. This time was the worst.

No greeting/no acknowledgment/no menu. I waited at the side of the bar to ask a question, a guy could absolutely see me and deliberately avoided eye contact repeatedly. Absurd. You don't want customers? You don't want money? OK.

I assumed it was just him and sat down at a table and waited. Waitstaff repeatedly coming into the room I was sitting in, no acknowledgment, no greeting, no menu. I got up and went to the counter and asked for a menu, then it was brought to me in less than a minute, by Edwin.

Of the three guys I see working there, Edwin is the one exception. He is very very nice. Last time I was there he was also very very nice to me. I had fun that time, that's why I came back.

I read the menu and set it aside, no one came to take my order. Eventually a guy comes into the room though not for me and I ask him if I can order, he seems awkward like he doesn't usually do this, isn't familiar with anything I'm ordering on the menu, challenges me and corrects me, and he's wrong. I show him on the menu what I'm talking about twice, proving that I'm correct, but I place my order with him. He doesn't come back with the beer I ordered, does not appear to me again.

A waitress comes and brings me the food I ordered, I ask about the beer, she doesn't know what I'm talking about. That guy had no intention of ever coming back with the beer for me. He doesn't like that he made a fool of himself when he corrected me, and he was wrong. So he just disappears. Fragile little man.

The waitress brought the beer, both the beer and the food were very good. Smaller portions for more money than 10 years ago, but that's to be expected

At this point I was there much much longer than I anticipated being there, after being ignored and neglected for extended periods, and I was rushing through my meal.

The waitress never came back to find out if I wanted another beer or if I was ready to pay.

Edwin cleared my table and took my payment. When it was time to select the tip amount, I really wasn't sure who was going to get the tip, so I tipped the middle amount.

$27 for sweet potato fries and a beer.

It's a great location, and space, and the food is still good. But being ignored and made to feel unwelcome is not where it's at. For sure this is not the place it used to be, and it just makes me sad.

I had a slice of Margarita pizza. Very good. Had fresh basil on it. It was close to New York pizza.

Nice folks, good pizza. Inexpensive, easy peasy, near the beach. Totally recommend.

went here and didnt get acknowledged waiting for a table, and then when we were seated, server never came so my table of 3 left without getting any service. there were only 2 tables of 4 seated inside, and 3 staff members by the dish drop and no one came to our table.. cant rate it on food unfortunately. i had a salad and a beer at the bar once for lunch, and that was fine. the space is really cool and large with a tv and would have liked to be a patron since I live a block away but thats just the way it goes.

Very disappointing experience that is now downright sketchy after checking my credit card balance and seeing that they charged me more than double the final amount. I have the email receipt from the transaction so this is really not a smooth criminal running the show.

Beyond that, it was just not an enjoyable experience. There were flies 🦟 flying around constantly. The owner/manager was very cold and unwelcoming and made me switch tables mid-meal. There were ton of screaming kids which led to a stressful atmosphere (not the restaurant’s fault per se). There is no WiFi. The pizza is average at best.

I placed an order to be ready at 1pm. I arrived 10 minutes earlier because I had been in the area running errands. I showed the nice man in front my receipt. He was looking around for my ticket but it seemed he could not find it. So he went toward the back oven and asked the chef in the back to confirm my order, a Caucasian gentleman with glasses and a colorful hat. He snapped back and said β€œwhat time is it supposed to be ready?” β€œAnd what time is it now?” β€œIt’ll be ready at 1:01pm.” It was loud enough for my husband and I to hear in the front where we were waiting.

1.) This is not how you conduct yourself to your fellow colleagues.
2.) This was so disrespectful to everyone around. Including your neighborhood customers.

God forbid we show up 10 minutes early to see if by chance it was ready. Not a big deal if it wasn’t. We left and decided to come back 20 minutes later. There was a kind lady who gave us our pizza and said usually there is a text sent out telling us it’s ready. We did not receive any text message at all. Sadly, this experience has left us not wanting to support this business entirely. Service matters.
