Amazing experience here :)! We were able to bring our own food so hubby and I got a slice down the block and ate and had a few drinks. Bartender was very nice and service was quick. Even got a shirt for memories. Will be back next time I am in SF!
Don't let the rough exterior fool you - it's all part of the charm of this gorgeous dive (said with the most love and meant as the highest compliment) bar. The owner Roxanne slings drinks behind the bar that many brings many of the locals in. Their happy hour is nothing to scoff at either, where else can you find a $3 draft?It's a beloved place where people come in and know each other by name. In other words it's a Great place for what it is and has always been.
Don't expect to be awed by decor or drink menu. Do expect reasonably priced drinks served in a friendly an hospitable manner, without pretense or pressure.
