The Tailor's Son Reviews
Great vibe and service! Outdoor seating is cozy and clean, lovely place to stop by for the midday bites, drinks and some casual chitchat. Loved the burrata crostini, calamari and salami pizza. Would love to go again and try out their dinner and lunch menu some time.
Amazing food, atmosphere and staff. I highly recommend The Tailor’s Son!
Overall, an awesome experience. The bar, kitchen, and service all came together for me.

The Tailor's Son offers a wonderful dining experience with great food and service in a nice atmosphere. The Risotto Milanese with Osso Buco is a must-try, along with delectable starters like Meatballs, Crudo, and Focaccia. The Gelato is excellent, complemented by refreshing Negronis and a fine selection of Italian wines. The restaurant warmly welcomes pets and kids, making it perfect for brunch or dinner, with vegetarian options available. The airy and bright space with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and cute decor adds to the overall pleasant ambiance.
Customers highly recommend the Risotto for its phenomenal flavor profile. The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, ideal for dates, casual gatherings, or reunions, with generous portions perfect for sharing. The Chicken Caesar Salad is praised for its scrumptious croutons and perfectly grilled chicken. Diners also enjoy the fresh and well-seasoned Escarole Salad, as well as the moist and tender Focaccia. The staff are friendly and welcoming, creating a cozy environment that makes guests feel like family. This place is elegant yet accessible, suitable for any occasion. The drinks are well-appreciated, with some enjoying a sprezzatura or leather corset, and the seafood salad, though simple, is quite good. The menu is seasonal, with the chef offering eclectic treats each month. After some initial service glitches, guests have noted that the service improves and becomes excellent, with all food described as delicious. The food quality, service, and overall experience are consistently praised, with many considering it a San Francisco favorite.
