This is a great neighborhood restaurant, truly a family feel. The selection of staples is wide and it is sit down service which is a good alternative to some of the other burritos shops on the street.
This place deserves more patrons. I got a steak quesadilla, and it was perfect. The portions were great, and I was able to have the other half of my meal for dinner the following day. I can’t wait to return to Tio Chilo’s and try the crab enchiladas.
Went on a thursday lunch break. Got the birria (goat) plate, comes with tortillas, rice and beans, chips and salsa. I also ordered the consome soup, side-dish; amazing, divine, my mouth waters in recollection, the best I've ever had. Cheaper then the taquerias on 24th st too.
