Like a little slice of heaven. The bagels are delicious. Tons of other amazing baked goods. Biscotti. Some ridiculous flatbread with rosemary on it that's kind of like a 2 foot long cracker. Plus pretty sure they have the original cash register they used when they opened in the 70s right next to the digital one they used today. Love the nostalgia. Love the taste. Love the outdoor rec seating. Even my kids loved it, which gives it 1 million extra points.

I am not sure where Google reviews placed my review, but Toscano Brothers is worth a second review. This bakery is definitely worth a visit. The fresh baguette, bagels, and Ricotta cake is 5 stars+. I always visit when North Beach is on my schedule. Every friend I have invited are now patrons and fans.

Tartine-quality bread freshly baked in North Beach. Assortment of other offerings - pastries, ricotta lemon cake.

Success!! Total score. Pumpernickel bagels on Saturdays. Fantastic feeling inside. Everyone working is so joyful and you know the good vibes are going into the dough that you’re eating. Loved it!!

Best bread I’ve had in SF in a while - the mortadella sandwich is great and with high quality olive oil.

Debuted at the end of the pandemic in response to an ethnic slur Dago Bagel from Tony Gemignani is one of three concepts inhabiting 728 Vallejo Street, and from Thursday through Sunday beginning at 08:00am guests are welcome to enjoy everything from true New York Style Bagels to housemade loaves and traditional Italian Pastries made with skill and love.

Liberally using Malt and a Cuppone Panettone deck oven imported from Italy, plus stone-ground Flour made on-site, visitors attention is next drawn to Toscano Brothers including “Gold Standard” Baguettes and Organic Sourdough Ace Pagnotta incorporating Spelt, Rosemary and Olives into a 40 year old Sourdough starter.

Trending sweet from here, a Sour Cherry and Chocolate Batard souring local produce and TCHO Chocolate, Tony’s “Piattina” cuts a wide swath of textures and flavors before Antonio’s Italians Pastries rounds things out with classic Rainbow Cookies and world-class Lemon Ricotta Cake plus silky Budino hidden alongside Prosciutto and Mortadella in the cold case.

΀oscano Brothers has probably surpassed Daily Driver as the best bagel bakers in San Francisco. All their bagels are boiled but Tony Gemigniani puts his own Italian twist to the recipe and the result is an eye-opening, fresh and very chewy bagel with perfect texture. All their pastries and sandwiches are what you would expect: elevated and decadent. Kudos to their Detroit style pizza; perfectly made with a nutty, cheesy artisan crust topped with high-end mozzarella. This pie is better than anything I've had in Detroit that's for sure.
Love this place, A+++

Their chocolate chip cookie is everything you could want—massive in size, premium in chocolate, and crunchy in chew. Perfect with a coffee beverage and fun to share.

Very simple ingredients elevate the sandwich as each ingredient has high quality

Their Sunday loaf and Oat Cappuccino were amazing. Friendly owners and the extra hot coffee made for a perfect experience.
