“As of January 2026, we have concluded our Troya Brunch project. I am no longer performing there as a DJ on weekends. I just wanted to provide this update.”

Had the vegetarian feast for 2 people. Very generous portions (took home a fair bit of food) but each course was delicious. Very attentive service. Wine pours were also very generous. Wonderful cafe! Bright and open.

Nice neighborhood spot, always good food and pleasant service. Can get noisy when it starts to fills up, tables are very close together.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday. Got the chickpea falafel. Honestly so good and flavorful. The sauce on top was amazing and really tied it together. The hummus was very creamy and not too salty. Also ordered the chicken skewer. The chicken itself was tasty and well seasoned, but the rice stood out a lot. The raisins added a nice sweetness and it came with more of that same sauce from the falafel which was amazing. We finished with the walnut baklava and it was easily some of the best baklava I’ve had. It was nutty and not overly sweet.

The staff was incredibly kind. We came in right before closing and stayed a bit past, and they never rushed us. Even cleaned up spilled rice right away without making it awkward. Only criticism with the place is that it is pretty expensive for the quantity and the quality of the food.

Troya is a hidden gem. The vegetarian feast was exactly a feast! Everything was delicious, the ambience understated, our server was excellent and very helpful, the meal was served on time and service was excellent.

A good Mediterranean restaurant in a funky neighborhood. Food was excellent. Services was good.

Not what it used to be. Portions are half of what they used to be. Ride recipe has changed, and food was so dry it was inedible. Used to love this place but $30 for dinner that has ONE kabob with 3 pieces of dry salmon, and rice so dry and full of cinnamon you can’t eat it.

Amazing food and ambiance, service was fine but not great. Overall good experience, would definitely come back.

If you like real Mediterranean food, dont go here. In fact, if you like food at all dont go here. The service was nice, but the price to food taste ratio is really disappointing. Do not recommend AT ALL.

We ordered the Turkish breakfast for two — it looked beautiful, but the price was really not justified. The amount of bread was very small, and we had to order extra — which cost $10! A small cup of Turkish tea was $4, which feels unreasonable for a place serving traditional breakfast. Overall, portions were modest and prices much higher than in other Turkish restaurants where you get much more generous breakfasts for less. Here, it feels like you’re mostly paying for presentation, not for value.
