Really good udon in an unassuming venue. The veggie udon is some of the best I've had with tons of fresh veggies. I also love that they have a la carte tempura so you can get exactly the amount you want. Highly recommend.
Closer to 3.5 stars. Casual, fast udon shop with a similar vibe to the more popular Marukame Udon. Niku choice between beef and pork (on the sweeter side). Quality of the noodles was similar to both restaurants. The main difference is the quality and selection of the tempura. There were less variety and quality was inconsistent (some of the vegetables were not fully cooked and tempura was sometimes soggy), probably because of a slower turnover. The food was amazing, but the service was even better. Andrew was our waiter and he was so kind and courteous. He even brought us desserts because there were no more noodles left for my daughter's dish, on the house! Thank you!
