The ambiance was lovely. The food was delicious. And then we ordered dessert and were forgotten by our waitress. 20 minutes later we got apologies and we asked for the check as we had theater tickets. So disappointing.
I loved the decor of this place as Farallon, and they've kept the same amazing "under the sea" decor: classy without being juvenile. The food was out of this world. We had the scallops and the mushroom bruschetta. I could eat an entire table of the mushrooms! Excellent! The scallops were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The asparagus soup was delicious. I can't say enough about the food, worth every penny! Our server was so nice, helpful, knowledgeable....
We had a fabulous lunch at Ula's. Everything we had was super tasty, including the cocktails! Yum! We had the garlic shrimp, the beef carpaccio, the Ahi tuna aguachile and the truffle fries, which were amazing. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable and amusing. The ambiance is pleasant, with comfortable booths and interesting art. Highly recommend this tapas place - we'll definately be back!
