I’ve been coming to UpforDayz for over 3 years…it is an incredible cafe with wonderful people and great food & drink options. Their salads, grain bowls, sandwiches, and toasts are so well made (extremely fresh!) and very reasonably priced. The cafe has an abundance of seating and natural light and is very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and attentive - it is one of my favorite spots in the city!

$6.50 for a shitty iced americano. didn’t even ask me for the size before running to make it. you should not even be charging different prices for iced americano sizes - it’s just extra tap water. absurd and never coming back!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I tried to order a full marble cake (not just a slice), and I was told they couldn’t sell it to me because they were “short-staffed.” That didn’t make sense—especially since the person who recommended this place told me she is always able to buy the full loaf. Even more concerning, just two days later, my friend went in herself and they sold it to her without any issue. At that point, it felt like I was being treated differently. It got worse. My friend later asked me to pick up the cake for her, and when I arrived, the owner recognized me and denied that any order existed. Then he changed his story and claimed it had already been picked up. When I called my friend and put her on the phone with him, he suddenly said he thought the order was for the next day. Completely inconsistent and unprofessional. On top of that, the owner’s behavior was rude and disrespectful. He mocked me, told me “I’m the owner, I know more than you,” and ordered me to move away while I was speaking—even though there were no other customers waiting. He also told me to be quiet and refused to let me speak. This felt discriminatory and was, without a doubt, some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I will not be coming back.

It's not a stretch to say that the (fresh start) avocado toast I got here is the best I've eaten in my life. I liked it so much that I went back and got the same order again the same day. I loved the staff, they're warm and quick. And it's a huge plus that the cafe is pet friendly, made lots of new furry friends :)

I am a huge fan, and critic, of Niçoise salads. Not only was my nicoise to-go salad from this establishment timely , but it was the perfect mix of fresh, crisp , and flavorful. The dressing was a perfect consistency , and there were equal portions of all my favorite nicoise accompaniments: egg, olives, peas, tomato’s, tuna, cucumber and lettuce. What a divine delicacy it was! Thank you Up For Dayz staff for your nourishing care!

I really do love the coffee and food here, however, in the past few months they have started to make me extremely uncomfortable coming here. I do not carry cash and to have them always telling me they prefer cash when I go to pay is awkward and uncomfortable.
