On a boys trip to the city went to check out this food truck spot decided to order a little bit of everything for the crew and holy smokes did this place ever blow us away. The salmon was so juicy and flaked and the sauce was 10/10. The fries were ridiculous (get a fried egg on top you won’t regret it), the crab cakes were off the chain good. The brisket sliders were mouth wateringly delicious (we ordered a second round), on a whole other level. Do yourself a favor and stop by this sleeper of a spot in the city of Michelin stars, and stiff com petition because this place is a stand out among stand outs.

Really disappointing. The spicy fried chicken sliders with a pricey side of fries were saggy and tasteless. I went to ask for extra ketchup and, instead of basic courtesy, Martin questioned whether I had actually purchased anything and pushed me to explain my order, even after I said my partner came and I have the receipt. I felt racially profiled and humiliated over a side of cheap ketchup, in front of other customers. Between the rude treatment and the bad food, I won't return. He really ruined my sparks social experience. Don't recommend.

Pictures are false advertising, chicken sandwich at most half the size of what they show
Ordered Waygu and Chipao burgers. Waygu patty was dry and lacked flavour. Chipao burger had chicken patty half the size of what’s shown in menu 😭

Honestly, one of the worst burgers I’ve had. There was nothing wagyu in flavor from the wagyu burger. It was overcooked. I also asked for a to go box and they were so cheap that they just partially wrapped it in foil but were giving boxes to other customers with larger orders.
The sliders are very flavorful, the thing that I’m not in love with is that the photos show a very different product than the one you get
Total rip off and scam. And the guy knows it. Paid $27+ for the full bowl and the guy gave me 4 tiny squares of over cooked beef on top of mostly rice and lettuce, with a bland gravy. Not brisket at all. Go to the food trucks on either side.

I'd say one of the best food trucks at Spark. Flavor is good and the meat is done really well. I've tried almost their whole menu and have yet to be disappointed.
I'm unsure why so many reviews talk about high prices. Nearly all the trucks at Spark and neighboring food spots within a few block radius have the same pricing. So yea, not sure what the fuss is about.
Food was average. Waited almost an hour for two items.

I ordered the chicken and the burger slider with their garlic fries. Only enjoyed the fries. Not impressed by everything else.

We visited the city from abroad and stumbled across Upper Cut food truck at Sparks Social. WOW!! We tried the chicken bowl, the mini cut, the poutine fries and crab cakes and it was just amazing. Not the typical food truck…Sweet and spicy, colourful, creative. The chicken was super tender and tasty, the mini cut was simple and perfect, the bacon on the poutine made a real difference, and the crab cakes were just incredible!
