I rarely write reviews but had to on this one. The amount of food you get for thr price in this economy is amazing. The kofta kebabs were juicy, cooked perfectly and seasoned well! Highly recommend. Not pictured is the puta bread and side sauce that comes with. Do give them a try!

Nice technology to order, fair prices. Waited less than five minutes for freshly prepared food. Paid $20 for a meal that was so big it lasted me two meals.

We love the food here. Its extremely fresh, well prepared and delicious. Portion is very generous. The Turkish Delight dessert was out of this world. Very clean facility and friendly service.

When I travel, I always look for Turkish restaurants, and this one didn’t disappoint me. Super tasty and delicious and fresh dishes. Enjoyed everything. Come and try Authentic Turkish coffee.

Our family recently visited the Van Ness cafe and had a very good experience. The gyro plate was delicious, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh ingredients. To top it off, they gave us complimentary tea, which was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was cozy, the owner was friendly . Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

This place serves the best wraps I’ve had in San Francisco, no contest. The flavors are so good they instantly remind me of the Mediterranean, and the customer service is top-notch they really make you feel welcome. Plus, the prices are super reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend💯👌

If you are even thinking about eating here, DO IT. The food here is amazing, the atmosphere is great. But most importantly it's very worth it. The owner is a really great and nice gentleman. I just got out the restaurant like 3 minutes ago very full from the combo, falafel, and the chicken soup I picked and I was like "this is one of the best restaurants in San Francisco I ever ate in." Thank you again Van Ness Cafe and Gyros and I will be back to try something else from the menu.

Had an absolutely lovely time at this cozy cafe. We ordered a combo gyro plate and two gyro wraps (1 combo, 1 lamb/beef) thinking we’d have just enough to satiate our hunger, but we ended up taking an entire gyro wrap home! The portion sizes are generous and we received great service. The Turkish black tea smelled amazing and was a delicious end to a great meal. Also loved their hot sauce; it satisfied the kick I wanted without overdoing the heat. Ultimately, the price of food, portion sizes, quality, and overall cleanliness made this a spot we’ll be sure to come back to next time we’re in San Francisco.

Was there for dinner today. Ordering via the touchscreen was easy and self-explanatory. The food is freshly prepared, tastes excellent and you really feel full. Afterwards there was a Turkish tea on the house. I can only recommend it. You can also order online or take away from the restaurant.
