I got the vegetariana pizza with vegan mozzarella and it was fantastic! Can’t think of the last time I had such a delicious vegan pizza, I loved it.
This place is amazing. The food was amazing. The people were amazing. The vibe was amazing. It was a really great time, enough time to finish the whole pizza. God bless this restaurant and the people. May this business grow more in the future. Much love 🙏🤍

This is a family friendly Italian place in heart of Bernal. Gets busy on weekend evening but they still manage without reservations. Has a more casual vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating

Really enjoyed the food. We went as a family of 5 and had a reservation at 5:30 pm. Early I know, but we have kids and sports and all that! Ha! We had the sea bass special with risotto and English peas, the fungi lasagna special, the fungi pizza, carbonara and ravioli special. All were excellent dishes. They also have a very decent house red wine that is cheap and delicious. Comes in handy for a big family. The resto is a bit dark inside, but halfway through the meal they did bring candles. Lots of wait staff which were very attentive. The only reason this isn’t 5s across the board is the constant pressure to finish your course, move to the next and get out. The manager was literally hovering over the table and asking us to speed up. After dinner, we asked for desert. They gave us menus but had absolutely no time to read it. The manager came over and immediately asked what we wanted. Rushed, we ordered the chocolate cake (for the person who had left for the restroom but we felt so pressured we figured we’d make a call), cannoli and the lemon sorbet. I’d describe the desert as mid, and definitely rushed. Similar to the other courses. We paid, left a great tip and left. Overall really good food and decent service. However turning over a table of 5 in less than an hour when they ordered 3 full courses and drank wine + non-alcoholic beverages was definitely a downside.

Fantastic pastas (primi). Mediocre pizzas. Hit or miss apps (antipasta). I haven’t tried the mains but need to soon.

Staff were friendly; outdoor seating was well heated; food was okay. One of our party requested a pizza without cheese and it arrived with cheese. We didn't mention the error, but it's a shame they couldn't pay attention and get this right.
Always a great meal! One of the few places open on Cortland Ave till 10pm. We had the pasta with mushroom sauce and a veggie pizza. The squash bottom appetizer is so good.

I adore this place, their food, staff and environment. I love their cesar salad, pizza and tiramisu, It’s heavenly. The owners are such a sweet couple and he named the restaurant after his wife. There’s this super funny waiter that always jokes around with my family, I love the staff. The restaurant is such a vibe, they have candles and the furniture is really cute, I love the artwork on the walls. Overall super sweet and humble.

This was our third visit to Vega and while all of them were great I just want to give a shout out to the team for taking our late reservation (9pm) on a Sunday night. We had precious few hours to spend with a friend who flew in for work reasons and the staff accommodated us as if we had walked through the door at 6pm. They even left the candles lit on the tables around us so we didn’t feel like we had to hurry to leave. I specifically chose Vega for dinner because of its late closing time and I’m so glad I did. Thanks to all of you and we’ll be there earlier next time!
