Welcoming and authentic Italian restaurant in Bernal Heights. Was moderately busy on a Tuesday evening but they had a table for us as walk-ins. Great food and service. The rigatoni with meat balls was delicious, the warm artichoke starter was tasty. Nice wine list, Valpolicella and house red both lovely. Tiramisu is not to be missed! Appreciate the soft lighting and sound proofing which creates a cozy, enjoyable atmosphere for conversations and connection.
We visited this highly recommended spot for dinner while on our visit to San Francisco. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations! The employees were attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and good vibes!
Have been to Vega thousands of times, feel like it’s the second home to me:) I am not a huge pizza lover but I really love Vega’s pizza:) it’s very thin yet super flavorful. My favorite dish there is the secret menu dish Squid ink pasta, definitely on the savory side but super umami 😋
