What a great stop for a sweet treat. Tourist here, we were looking for a small bite before walking through Chinatown. I was blown away by the quality of the pastries, their coffee was good too. They have a cute storefront right off Washington Square Park with seating outside. It was delicious!

Soooo I’m visiting from NC, just walking around town and had a major sweet tooth and went to google and typed “bakery near me”. This was not one of the bakeries that popped up. Google initially showed me a bakery maybe 2 blocks away and that’s where I went first. They looked understaffed, so after a few mins of growing inpatient in line, I decided to leave and look elsewhere. Plus, the vibes just weren’t there. Srry for the lengthy intro but I just gotta share how good God is lol. Anyways, I went back onto Google and this place showed that it was a short walk. Immediately once I walked in, the guy and girl behind the counter acknowledged my presence & smiled while letting me know they see me! All of the treats looked freshly made and the shop was clean. I almost chose my go-to treat, a strawberry shortcake cake but thankfully I decided to listen to those reviews that raved about the princess cake. Being an outta-towner I never knew princess cakes existed, and now I’m obsessed. Bcus what do u mean I went my entire life without knowing anything about this deliciousness??? Holy crap! God is so good bcus that other shop didn’t offer princesses so I would’ve totally missed out! It took everything in me not to order several more slices to take back home. Thank u to the bakers and thank u to the reviewers for putting me on! Yall will be seeing me again! PS had to take a bite before taking a pic

Pastries are too sweet!!! I've had way better Italian pastries. Don't recommend it to be honest.

This place rips off tourists! We were sent there on the recommendation of Dylan's Tours, down the street. Said we would get a discount, which we did not. The middle aged, dark haired man barely spoke to us, charged us for all our pastries and did not put 1/2 of our order in the bag. Bagged things seperatly to make it look like more and when we questioned him, he just went and got them. There was no language barrier and he didn't hesitate once he knew we knew. I didn't even have to remind him. What a trashy place. It was NOT a misunderstanding, he knew exactly we hat he was doing. He was working at 8am on Memorial Day, 2025. Probably the owner.

This review is specifically for their Princess Cake! This bakery is located near the north beach area/little Italy and my friends from SF rave about their Princess Cake. We got one for a birthday and it’s the perfect sweetness. It’s an almond fondant layer that’s not too sweet with white cake and crème and I think strawberry jelly? The whole cakes are perfect for a small gathering and the slices are perfect if you want to try! I’m sure service there is great, they have so many options of cakes, pastries and coffee. It looks like you can also enjoy your desserts inside and outside!

This place has the best egg bagel I’ve ever had! The service was excellent—Gloribel (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was incredibly kind and helpful. She even gave us suggestions on places to visit; she should be a tour guide! Such a lovely woman. Highly recommend stopping by!

Love this spot, awesome to grab a coffee/pastry for Washington Square park, the line at Mama’s or because the pastries are so good!

Really a huge fan of the princess cake and the biscotti. Love buying assorted cookies for the price by the pound, super affordable. Coffee is totally fine. Fast service. Easy location.

We tried Schubert’s for the (best) Princess cake in town but they were sold out. A patron at the bakery suggested this spot for great cakes and desserts. We decided to give it a shot.

We tried four items on the menu. Including their Princess Cake. The cake was not completed defrosted so one of the layers was pure ice. Needless to say, a disappointment.

The other items were good - strawberry shortcake, almond torte and tres leches. Nothing spectacular, but consistent. And not frozen.

The service was peculiar. I told them about the cake being frozen and all I got was “I am sorry” but not a single offer to remedy the issue, in any way. Just a shrugged shoulder. I have them the cake back and left as is. Not worth a discussion.

The spot is at a fun area though and lots of great things around.
