Restaurant is very dated. However service was nice and friendly. Timing for food took a while however I was surprised at how good the food tasted. Overall it was a decent experience.
Went here for a company party. We rented out the whole place. It was pretty nice. The food was okay the portions are kind of small. The food was prepared pretty well, but I wouldn't give it five stars. It lacked imagination and variety. For some reason I think they forgot to give us condiments such as salt and pepper and sauces. Just very basic stuff was missing. They prepared the tables pretty good, tell me what happens but the presentation had much room for improvement....
This is our favorite kitschy Sf restaurant. The prices are ridiculous low and the whole experience is like a 1950's (or older) time warp experience. If you what a fun dinner at an amazing place go there. If you want a hip cool trendy place do not go there. We have brought many of our friends there over the years and they say it reminds them of the mid west restaurants their parents took them to when they were kids.
