We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Strategic location, practically in Union Square on one of the cable car lines. The room was quite large but rather dated as was the bathroom, very comfortable bed; the omnipresent carpet always gives me a feeling of just enough hygiene. Fortunately we were facing a side street so all in all with little noise. The lobby has been recently renovated and the staff is friendly and helpful. We spent two nights at Villa Florence during our stay in San Francisco. It couldn't be more centrally located, the Powell & Hyde/Mason Cablecar line is in front of the door and Union Square is less than a 5-minute walk. The hotel is good, we had a double room with separate beds. The room has everything you need but is rather small, the bathroom is tiny but has everything you need.

Hotel with a convenient and strategic location especially if you travel by public transport. Room a bit noisy unfortunately due to the proximity to the motors of the air conditioning systems. For the rest everything is quite ok.
