The sushi and tempura are pretty darn good! I don't know about the chicken teriyaki tbh, but it was tender. I also liked their soup and the cozy atmosphere. The waitress is amazing 12/10

Surprised myself coming back to this perfect japanese restaurant in the heart of the mission! Very authentic, most of the chefs are japanese. Fish is perfect. Feels like Japan! Highly recommend!

The waiter treated us like crap, I would've given minus, if I could. The food was good, but the waiter was so so cold, I couldn't even enjoy the food. She acted like she was doing us a favor and was feeding us for free. Probably the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. I would never go back here, even though the food was pretty good.

I loved this place back in the day, 25 years ago when it had a different location near UCSF. I had to visit since it had the same name. I was pleasantly surprised that it retained much of the character. I learned to love sushi at We Be Sushi. The sushi pieces were bite size, as they should be. No need to bite into it and have it fall apart like most sushi places these days. Thank you to whoever runs it these days. My order: Miso soup, California roll, and tuna sashimi. Yummy 😋

Affordable and large portions but quite ordinary. The teriyaki salmon dinner was nice and came with soup and salad and some mushy California roll slices, but the nigiri sushi platter was uneven in quality, not as fresh as it could have been. Nice friendly neighborhood place, but with so many great sushi restaurants in the vicinity we will not likely return.

We be sushi is great! We've eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and the fish is always fresh.
We also had them cater for our baby shower recently where they brought in a sushi bar/ made sushi fresh- they did a phenomenal job! A lot of our guest still rave about it.

This is my first sushi place I ever went to. They were further down Valencia at, closer to 24th st. Then they closed and reopened in the location they are now. I just recently went and had lunch with a friend. And spent about $55 with tip, but we only had tea no drinks. I was full from what I ordered because it comes with soup , and salad. I wish w had taken a picture but I was so excited to eat I forgot. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ but it was delicious none the less. I was pleasantly surprised at how they picked up on the little things. With out me asking, they noticed I had dropped my chopsticks and immediately brought me a clean pair. Now that’s service, and they are super polite and pleasant. I recommend them to anyone.
