Not sure why this place seems to have a relatively low rating - it deserves higher IMO. The crispy pork belly on rice was tasty and the portion size was quite respectable. Food was cooked promptly. No complaints.

It was a very beautiful afternoon and I visited a food truck and it was the best decision to go to Wickend Star. I loved it.
I ate a grilled chicken and a pork belly and I loved it.

Ordered a Thai iced tea and the crab fried rice. Unfortunately, the Thai iced tea was not only watered down, but had no sweetness at all 😭. When I asked the server, he told me, “It’s supposed to be like that,” which left me confused 🤔.
I also had high hopes for the crab fried rice because the pictures on the truck looked amazing, but when I opened the box, the portion was tiny (less than half the box) and the salad took up most of the space. I had requested medium spicy, but it came with zero spice.
Honestly, it just felt like there wasn’t much effort put into the meal. I should’ve read the reviews before ordering. Super disappointed.

The bestie and I have continued the tradition of trying every food truck before the Giants games on Tuesdays, and this past Tuesday 6/24 around 4:30p, we ventured to Wicked Star. There’s touchscreens to order on like most places, easy to use. I ordered the Pork belly with lime bowl, it was ready pretty quick less than 5mins, more people showed up after us and they did seem busy the time we were there. My buddy got the crab fried rice and veggie egg rolls as they were out of the shrimp and crab(Boo!). We sat to eat (I always bring my leftovers in to the game) and I was slightly disappointed. The portion was a good amount of pork belly, but honestly not that great, it was pretty chewy/fatty and not in a good way. I also asked for extra spicy, I could have definitely used more but I understand everyone has a different tolerance for spicy so maybe they erred on the side of caution. Rice and salad was good.
Now the egg rolls, hmmmph, they looked good but small, and when I tried one it just was bland, the sauce they come with was great, but I had to dip it for the two bites I had. I didn’t try the rice so can only go off my friend saying he liked it and he didn’t have any leftovers. I thought it looked a little skimpy on the crab.
Cost wise, menu prices are listed in my photos, my meal (no drink or extras) was $17.83, so pretty much average cost for a meal, but cheaper than what I’d spend inside Oracle Park.
I’ll try the place again eventually but I’m not rushing back.

The fire grilled chicken and sticky wings here are great. Surprised at the low rating on Google maps considering there’s almost always a line for this food truck whenever I go.
Very x 1000 bad. Save your $$$.
Pork belly was chewy and tough.
Shrimp was decent, but the fried rice felt like just rice. Hardly some specs of egg in it and no veggies in the fried rice itself.

While in Spark Social in Mission Bay SF, we tried fire chicken grilled bowl and it was good. It could have been more spicy. But overall good.

The operator Argued for 5 Literal minutes withholding the food I paid for because I didn’t give them my phone number for the order! “We can’t just give out food without a text there’s so many people how do we know it’s yours” as the operator motions to an Empty Lot and me the only customer…
After finally getting my food I’m beyond disappointed because I paid 20$ for fatty low quality grilled chicken, store bought bagged salad, & watery fish sauce dressing.
Never eating at this poor excuse for a food truck again when there is actual quality food at Spark Social.

Very disappointing for a SFO food truck , the crab was canned , my wife could not have more than 2 bites, and she LOVES crab… the vegan option was ok thanks to the salad dressing but flavorless otherwise. Service not friendly, uninterested.

Wings were completely flavorless. I asked if the sauce was seperate because it was literally just a fried chicken wing with like, a dot of Sriracha. To top it off they were raw in the center. Egg rolls were tasty though, just avoid the sticky wings.
