Mike was very knowledgeable and informative about the all the wines. I am not very open to trying new wines but he offered tastings of different types of wine which was going above and beyond. We had a great experience here and I think everyone that visits should stop by.

Absolutely stellar place to drop in, alone or with a group. Chatting with strangers over a red Merlot and getting to know locals and tourists alike was a calming moment during a busy week. Staff are exceptional and stop to chat between filling a glass or serving a flight or two. Absolutely would visit again!

Great surprise! We have good Wine experiences visits in our country and we have to say: WAS SO NICE with Kostas. He talked so friendly and chatted about wine in California as new sistems vineyards and other interesting things like history. We recommed everyone stop, enjoy wine and his conversation. I don't often write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so today because of the excellent and fun experience my friends and I had going for a wine tasting at the Winery Collective at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.Somewhat inexperienced at this wine tasting game, we were lucky to have Kostas as our host and wine associate. His knowledge and professionalism was superb and he guided us through a truly wonderful wine tasting experience like a seasoned wine sherpa. I had the Red Flight, which was delicious, and ended up buying my favorite, the Pinot Noir 2013 W. It was an overall terrific experience and we'll be back! Highly recommended.

A great spot on Fishermans Wharf. We popped in on a rainy afternoon after going to Alcatraz as we hadn't had the opportunity to make it to the wine regions on our short Californian trip in winter. My partner and I both got tasting flights and Kostas the bartender/sommelier was amazing - friendly, super knowledgable and really engaging to speak to. Great range of wines from different regions in California on offer.

We were on a road trip and decided to stop at some vine spot, we chose this place, the atmosphere was great, the bartender was very professional and friendly, we loved this place from the first step in, vines taste super good and prices are reasonable, if u are around here this is the place must visit

located in the building of the Argonaut Hotel (though not affiliated with it) where i stayed during a recent trip to The City. Winery Collective is a great place to taste Californian boutique wines off the well-trodden paths of standard Napa and Sonoma. several flights - red/white mixed, red only, bubbles, etc - plus more by the glass, bottles for sale at good prices, and all that served expertly by knowledgeable staff. Kostas was managing the bar that day, which made for a fun time. highly recommended to round out a trip to Fisherman's Wharf.
