Excellent choice for local, cheap dim sum in the Chinatown area of SF. You will see people ordering in bulk from here as they are also providers for other restaurants in the area.

There is seating outside with the shed they built. Pieces of dimsum or buns are cheap and ten dollars will get you full for a few hours of walking and exploring the city! Enjoy this hidden gem!
It’s a take out spot. It’s also a IYKYK kind of place. Tourists flock to places with names they recognize but Wong Lee has items that are standouts. Mochi - peanut or red bean filling - fewer and fewer stores are making these. Chow fun Rice noodles - they make their own from scratch and I’ve seen folks buy rice noodles in bulk to take home. They specialize in glutinous rice zhong (tamales). Their chive & shrimp pan fried dumplings I’m told are good. See photos from...
Was in the area waiting for an order and really wanted some egg tarts. Very tasty and flavorful. They have other options as well. Small space so it gets crowded but over all they’re fast and delicious.
