Word A Cafe is closed.In its place is Roadhouse Cafe who move up a block from their longtime location. Solid good fare. It maybe the last neighborhood hold out where the old ( & a few) newtimers sit around, drink coffee, laugh,and 'chew the fat' ~ a gem. Mama runs the show. (Closes early afternoon.)
Antone and I came here on a whim for some coffee. We were greeted with friendly service and a lively atmosphere. Once I realized they had empanadas, I was in heaven. Try the pulled pork or the beef! They are affordable and very flavorful. I can't wait to come back!
Amazing hidden gem, with the best empanadas that I've ever had. Chef Joel is a real treat with delicious food and great customer service. The jazzy vibe and incredible hospitality will draw you in!
