We had a great time cooking our bbq, service was quick and ingredients full of flavor. We ordered a little bit of everything with our favorites being the marinated pork rib and beef.
Ventilation could be better, if you come here you’ll be smelling like bbq.

Food is ok. The service is terrible. We are on business trip. We asked nicely to see if we can split tickets for more than 2 people. The manager gave us a very bad attitude keep saying NO. Our attitude was very nice Why he is so angry about us? And the bathroom floor is really stinky and dirty.

We love the food and come here often, but the guy at the front wearing glasses was Extremely rude and spoke to us in unacceptable disrespectful manner raising the voice almost yelling in anger, when we kindly asked to change our seat to one of the available vacant booths. After this unpleasant conversation, we just left without being seated. Absolutely unacceptable behavior and service.

My partner and I are big Korean BBQ fans and go often back home in NYC, so we were excited to try YakiniQ for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was just okay and lacked flavor, even on the premium plate. The beef bulgogi didn’t really taste like beef, and overall, nothing stood out.
Service was also disappointing. After waiting an hour to be seated, it took another 10 minutes before anyone checked in to take our order, and the couple next to us (who arrived after) were served first. Even water took about 20 minutes to arrive….
I also didn’t realize it was self-cook, which might be fine for some, but the experience felt very “here’s your meat, good luck.” The ventilation could use improvement too; the smoke builds up quickly and makes your eyes sting.
Overall, not the experience we were hoping for.

The only good thing here was that they brought us the banchan right away because we were starving. They tasted good. Once the server arrived, he took our order and we never saw him again. Like literally he just never came back. He forgot my beer and bottle of soju and brought it out once I was already full from the meal. Forgot our steam rice, and mushroom as well. Besides the service being nonexistent, the soontofu was missing its Korean depth, and the bibimcooksu was flavorless. They do have the soft rice paper rolls so I can give them that. KalBi was good. This was quite the worst KBBQ experience I’ve had. Borderline offended at how bad the experience was.

The food was fine, but we were very disappointed with the attitude of the person that seemed to be the manager. We got our table late at around 9pm and ordered the Premium all you can eat set for 4. After the one big plate of the Premium set, we started our first round at the last order before the kitchen closed. So we sat and tried to finish everything. Just a little before 10, we asked one of the staff to help change the grill plate. The staff was polite to assist. Then after that, the manager came and appeared very upset telling us that the restaurant was closed and we could not ask for the staff for the service anymore. We were astonished cuz the close time was 10pm, and even though we were the only customers left, it was not yet the close time. We didn’t understand why the man seemed so upset. Then we continued and ended up finishing everything at 22:20. The manager one more time came up to us, more pissed off and told that everybody was trying to clean up and they all waited for us! He was very rude with all the attitude and the way he said it. If they were strict with their closing time, they could have told us 15min earlier with a polite reminder or even asked us to leave, instead of appearing pissed off, angry and saying something like ‘everybody is trying to do their job and they all wait just because of us’. I don’t think we will ever go back to the place again, sadly!

My go-to AYCE kbbq. Relatively affordable for AYCE and good quality. Go early or late; else expect a 20m wait.
