Pros: The bartender was really cool and personable. The space is huge and has the atmosphere of a speakeasy. It's in what appears to be a relatively safe neighborhood and there are other bars close by if bar hopping is on your agenda. Fyi i hope you like your free popcorn extra salty. This divey bar has been around for ages and is a regular hang out for many locals. There is no food other than free popcorn offered however you can bring in outside food. Ecclectic rotation of Asians, college students, hipsters and the like. Nice big tables in the back for groups and cozy nooks you can lose yourself in. popular game day hang out with 3 dart boards in the back.

Been coming to Yancys since I moved to the inner sunset. Giovanni got us hooked here. Between him & Nate this bar has become my favorite place to hangout. Conversation- amazing. Music- incredible. Drinks- same as every other bar. Everyone in the inner sunset should come here, they treat you like family.
