This place always delivers, delicious and well priced frozen dumplings. Great to grab for a party or to just have on hand. Didn't take a picture of the menu but as of December 2023 most flavors were about $11-14 for a bag of 20 frozen dumplings. Never a line or a wait, can't recommend it enough

They have great frozen dumplings just be sure to get there early as they tend to sell out of certain things!

Look, I'm not one to gatekeep my favorite places, but I'd be lying if I said this review wasn't long overdue. However, I can assure you that it had nothing to do with not wanting people to find out about this place. Besides, it's far too late for that, even if that was the case, given all of Yummy Dumpling's sister locations. Rather, it's because I've been coming here for long, it doesn't even occur to me at this point to stop and take a photo of their menu or the things that I've tried. Which is a real shame because nearly everything they sell tastes so good! Now, if you've ever been to King of Noodles, Kingdom of Dumpling, Dumpling Empire in South SF, or any of their other sister locations that have sprouted up over the years (they all have such regal names), you'll be all too familiar with the frozen goodies that Yummy Dumpling has to offer. From their wontons and dumplings to their potstickers and green onion pancakes (and more), everything they sell here is homemade and is the same as what you'll find at any of their restaurants. In fact, on more than one occasion, I've even see workers carrying over trays of stuff from here to King of Noodles across the way.As easy as it is to nutshell what Yummy Dumpling has to offer though, it also undersells all that you can get here. Across the countless number of times I've been here, I've managed to check out bunch of their offerings, but I know there is still plenty that I've yet to try. Partially because those stragglers haven't tickled my fancy as much, but mostly because, at this point, it's hard for me to not get my usual favorites - the PORK DUMPLINGS W/ NAPA CABBAGE (plump, meaty), the SHANGHAI SOUP DUMPLINGS (luscious and porky), and the PORK WONTONS WITH SHRIMP (tender skins, flavorful).Along with my go-to favorites, I've also tried their CHICKEN DUMPLINGS WITH CORN, GREEN ONION PANCAKES, AND PORK POTSTICKERS. None of these are as good as my favorites (though, the potstickers just missed the cut), but they are pretty solid in their own right and far better than whatever frozen varieties you'll find in the freezer section at Asian markets. The one thing about Yummy Dumpling that I'm not as fond of anymore is that, ever since COVID, they no longer allow customers inside the store (you order off the menu at the doorway and they will bring it to you). It makes complete sense, as there are workers inside making everything, but I miss perusing through their freezer chest myself. Also, the menu seems slimmer than it used to be, but all of their best/main offerings are still available, so hard to say what may have been dropped. Regardless, even though Yummy Dumpling may cost a few bucks more than the mass produced stuff you'll find elsewhere, it's worth splurging to get the tastier, homemade stuff!

Frozen handmade dumplings and won-tons to go. Decent, although not exceptional quality. The pricing is also a little high for frozen, despite others saying how cheap they are. For example, it's about $7 for the wontons. You could get roughly the same amount of wontons (maybe a few less but more veggies), broth, and have others cook them for you for pickup for about $9-10. Overall I just don't see buying these as high value.Lamb dumplings are the best of the dumplings. Found the pork ones to be a little flavorless. The wontons are definitely the winners here overall - the shrimp and pork ones are great, although you can power through a single pack quickly and still be a little hungry.Overall I give it a 4 but it's not far from a 3.

So yummy and dumplings are affordable. My favorite has to be the black fungus w/ egg dumplings; they are packed with flavor. I also bought the pork with basil dumpling the basil added a nice touch of flavor!

If you want high quality dumplings anytime, at home, then you must check this place out. We go and get a few bags every month and I love having a variety of dumplings at home, ready in ten minutes. We’ve tried 7 or 8 things and it is all great.

Absolutely killer dumplings, potstickers, etc. They supply a lot of the local restaurants - but why not just make them yourself at home for cheaper? We bought the soup dumplings, pork potstickers, chicken potstickers, lamb dumplings, and shrimp dumplings. All just amazing. Perfect skin, ample filling. And everything was so juicy, even the potstickers. We steamed the soup dumplings and regular dumplings in a steamer basket over a pot of boiling water for 9 minutes and that was perfect. The potstickers we steamed in a pan with a half inch or so of water, lid on, for about 8 minutes and then pan fried in vegetable oil for another 90 seconds or so.

These dumplings are still the best, they have reopened the doors at their original location, and they now accept Venmo (“yummydumpling” under businesses, don’t forget to tip the workers folding dumplings all day long) as well as cash. I still stand by my recommendations of black fungus (delish for everyone, not just vegetarians!), and lamb (try it with this dipping sauce: soy sauce and chopped cilantro and/or scallions, plus a little black Chinese vinegar, sesame oil, and simple syrup, and chili sauce/pepper flakes). Though I’ve honestly liked every dumpling flavor I’ve tried, as well as the other items.

First time coming to this spot and had a great foodie adventure! There's a walk up table that you tell the lady what you'd like from the menu and she pulls it out of a large freezer and hands it to you. Can't be faster than that! Great prices that were very reasonable. Came home and cooked what I bought, which were soup dumplings, pork/shrimp dumplings, and pork wonton. All were delicious and unique in their own ways! Excellent flavor, inside was moist with good texture, the wrappers held up well on the wontons. I would definitely come back to replenish my stock of wontons and dumplings from Yummy Dumpling. Plenty of other items I'd like to try from their menu in future!

Limited menu compared to their competitor on 32nd and Taraval. I prefer the place on Taraval because they have more offerings and the price is comparable. There are no pork buns at this location and items like the green onion pancake was out of stock when I stopped by Thursday morning.

Quick take: frozen dumplingsWe walked to this shop from the SF Botanical Gardens. No need to move our car since parking spots are like treasure in that area.20 dumplings per order for $12.50/bag. We picked:-Pork and Shrimp Dumplings w/green chives-Pork Dumplings w/basil and napa cabbageThis was last minute so we didn't have a cooler. We went home right away. Bring a cooler if this isn't your last stop.Yummy Dumplings is right! Definitely going back next time. Payment is via Venmo QR code.

They sell frozen dumplings and varieties of other specialities. This was our first time trying their dumplings. Chicken dumplings were good but there was something about lamb dumplings that was little off the mark. Not much of a lamb and it didn’t taste as good. I did have an upset stomach and I always make sure I steam frozen dumplings at least 18-20 mins just to make sure they get cooked thoroughly. Will try their other dumplings in the near future. Quick note: There are about 20 dumplings in a packet. ( little over 60 cents per dumpling)

As good as all the reviews! Pork and Shrimp wontons are better than a lot of restaurants. Also tried the pork and chive dumplings - excellent. I'll definitely be back to stock up. Cash/Venmo .
