I have the chicken Parmesan sandwich yesterday for dinner and it was a little more deconstructed than what I had expected but it was literally one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my entire life
Sandwiches are super delicious and freshly made. Family who run it are very friendly and helpful. The guy at the register suggested and awesome place to picnic at Golden Gate Park.
FYI they stop serving sandwiches around 5pm, after that it’s just the store open

Handy Deli offers excellent sandwiches, including the popular tuna salad sandwich, and provides incredible customer service with enthusiastic staff. The deli counter has limited hours, but the store remains open late into the morning on most days, with street parking available on Irving Street. The family-friendly deli welcomes kids and accommodates dietary restrictions with advance notice.
