Killer sushi spot with unbelievably friendly staff. The fish was super nice and the portions were solid. Chef Bobby G took care of us; it's really great when the person making your food actually cares about what they do.

Great food, friendly service, chill vibe. Very kid friendly and the robot and bullet train server were a cool touch.

Visited on a weekend evening. Pretty busy but not overly so. I ordered the Hokkaido Scallop, Unagi, and Ika Nigiri, along with the Spicy Salmon Hand Roll and Taiyaki Ice Cream dessert. Overall, it ran me about $50.

The food was just "alright." None of the food was morish and the price I paid didn't feel justified. The hand roll was pathetic - I could not tell that there was salmon in there... And the Taiyaki Ice Cream was literally just one of those ice creams you could buy a four-pack of but charged three times more. This restaurant serves Nigiri and Handrolls, but I'd say stick with the regular rolls and save the specialty sushi for a dedicated omakase restaurant. And absolutely skip the dessert...

Atmosphere - The restaurant's main appeal is that it runs as a "bullet train" restaurant. However... when I came to visit, it wasn't running! And because of this (or not), service was pretty slow! It took 20 minutes to get my food... The decor of the restaurant was okay... I guess I expected more eating at a Sushi restaurant in San Francisco.

Would I eat here again?
Absolutely not, lol... Way too expensive for what you get and there are no promises of their marketing draw (bullet train).

The sushi is excellent with a lot of vegetarian options and expect a small surprise on how food is delivered to the table (?)

Oh what an unpleasant experience here - between the robot waiter - gaudy and just a poor dishes with a fish which made me question its quality.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is unwelcoming. Felt as if I was sitting in a hallway.

Overall each surface looked unclean and not tidy.

The importance of an experienced and friendly chef should not be overlooked. Too many times I have found restaurants where the chef disregards the customer's opinion due to perceived lack of expertise in the culinary craft. That isn't the case here. Chef Bobby spoke to every diner during my visit and listened to our feedback, as well as provided some backstory and reason to his processes. It was a very warm and engaging experience, which helped us better understand the food. This is always a good thing.

The prices here are excellent, especially for the quality. I don't need to talk about the all you can drink deal, but it's what you'd expect and really great for the price again.

I have nothing bad to say as a customer, but I noted throughout the night how the layout of the restaurant causes the robot server to impede the staff's ability to quickly move around the restaurant. This is due to the hallway layout causing only one person to be able to walk through at a time, sometimes while shuffling behind the robot. I know it's a unique piece for the restaurant, but I wonder if it's really necessary. I imagine it would be pretty annoying for all involved parties during busy hours. On the other hand, the train is a much more efficient design although it lacks the ability to move larger dishes.

What a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. After several attempts to eat here,I finally went when they were open and was delighted at the not too busy, somewhat quiet vibe.If you get a house special roll, make sure it's the Bobby G Roll! I love soft shell crab, so if that sounds tasty, this is for you. There are two different yummy sauces that come with it, and the presentation is nice. The sauce can be overkill, so wipe at your own discretion.Sashimi is cut a bit on the smaller side but still tasted fresh and good. I like that they had a 5 PC nigiri sampler. It came with salmon belly, and the chef even brought it out himself, which was a nice touch.I like the convenience of ordering as you please on screen using a combo of bullet train and human assisted robot delivery methods. Staff is kind and sincere, and I didn't feel rushed. This place has a homey vibe, and with that, $11.99/pp AYCD is a great option for a date, quick meal, or fun small group of 4.Check this place out. I'll definitely be back to try other things as the menu isn't deep, but from what I tried, they prepare what they offer well.
