Awesome new vendor in the kiosk that used to be Bi-Rite in the Civic Center Plaza (pre-pandemic). I've had 4 things here (napolitano, caprese and veggie sandwiches and beet salad) and they've all been fresh and delicious with a generous serving. The bread they use is soft and yummy, not too "bready" with a good bread:fillings ratio. My main critique is the pricing, which -- while in line with SF prices -- isn't going to be accessible to most of the local residents of the TL/SOMA. The gelato pricing starts at $5.99. With a playground right behind the kiosk, it would be nice if the prices were lower so a family of 4 wouldn't have to pay almost $25 to get ice cream on a nice day.

Got the Speciale sandwich and made it spicy! Was a tad too spicy but had a great bread ratio for me today and everything tasted phenomenal!

The Latte Macchiato we ordered costed 5 $ and were just a espresso Shot with a tiny bit of milk! The hot chocolate were 6$, The size is fine but the powder was not fully dissolved and crumbs wäre swimming on top so you had this bitter crumbs in your mouth when you tried to take a sip. The young man behind the counter were not friendly or helpful when we ordered and were confused, because there were no menu for the drinks.
I can't recommend anyone to get there anything. It's not tasty and very expensive!

Great spot for lunch. Lovely outdoor seating, absolutely massive sandwiches, delightful italian sodas. So happy to have a quick and easy lunch spot so close to work.

They have another location in front of the Spanish consulate now they have a new location at the civic center. Authentic Italian spot. My favorites are the affogato which is espresso ice cream. Their best canned beverage is this Italian sparking lemon beverage or orange sparking beverage made in Italy better than San pellegrino brand. Good sandwiches and beverages!!!

And if I could give 5+ star to the owner I’d too, he’s the best! Was happy to find this little gem with all the things I was looking for. As an Italian myself I’d really recommend this place and you have to trust me.

Nice local spot of a great selection of kitchen staples that really can't be found elsewhere in the Mission. Have had several sandwiches here over the past year and had a tasty cheesecake today. Thanks Chris for bringing some flavors to the Mission I remember from my childhood!

Shared a Cuban sandwich with my boyfriend here. It was delicious, he loved the beef frank in it especially. Probably the best Cuban I've ever had.

I ordered three sandwiches, all bread and lettuce! They were very stingy with the condiments, only ONE thinly sliced piece of cheese, very little meat. Don’t waste your money!

I've gone in a bunch of times since it opened since I work nearby. I have never bought any groceries though because the store doesn't put prices on half of its products. It's not clear what the pattern is, why some things have price tags and some don't, but in all honesty, I think sales would pick up if the prices were displayed like in just about any other store. I think it may kinda piss a lot of people off, like it's a version of "if you need to know the price, you can't afford it." But since you're not selling yachts, I look forward to buying some well-labeled Italian provisions soon.
