Awesome new vendor in the kiosk that used to be Bi-Rite in the Civic Center Plaza (pre-pandemic). I've had 4 things here (napolitano, caprese and veggie sandwiches and beet salad) and they've all been fresh and delicious with a generous serving. The bread they use is soft and yummy, not too "bready" with a good bread:fillings ratio. My main critique is the pricing, which -- while in line with SF prices -- isn't going to be accessible to most of the local...
They have another location in front of the Spanish consulate now they have a new location at the civic center. Authentic Italian spot. My favorites are the affogato which is espresso ice cream. Their best canned beverage is this Italian sparking lemon beverage or orange sparking beverage made in Italy better than San pellegrino brand. Good sandwiches and beverages!!!
And if I could give 5+ star to the owner I’d too, he’s the best! Was happy to find this little gem with all the things I was looking for. As an Italian myself I’d really recommend this place and you have to trust me.
