The place is spacious and clean. The service was good too. However, I was a bit disappointed in how the food tasted. The pork for the bento rice was overcooked. The curry for my cutlet rice was a bit bland. It isn't a bad spot in the 626 area. I may come back to try the hotpot if we want affordable Japanese food.
I had lunch there with my friends yesterday. The place was not crowded throughout lunch time. The service was very good and attentive. There were about 3-4 other tables. The squid legs appetizer was really good and not over fried. I ordered the chicken ramen was not so good. It didn't have any flavor or taste. It was salty enough just not very good. My friends had shrimp salad, tempura, and curry chicken. They said they were ok. Oh, they don't have a lot of the sushi...
The pork cutlet bento box was delicious. The portion was small though. I had the Friday special desert which was green tea ice cream on red bean paste with some mochi balls. It was delicious. See the attached pics. Will go a different day just to try a different desert.
