“This food pulled me out of my depression. I'm so serious. I tend to fight with myself about what to eat for lunch and dinner, how much to spend, and if I should order in or eat what I have at home. I just gave in and ordered delivery, and ended up with one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I got the plantains, the oxtail patty, and the wings. Those flavors thrilled me. I was shocked at how good each new thing was. I've since had it a few more times. My only complaint is that the shrimp roti isn't as good as it could be. My shrimp were over cooked, and the flavor is missing something. My favorite has been the pepper goat roti. BABY! That is about to be a problem for my wallet. What a delicious creation. What a beautiful restaurant. Glad it exists.

“EXCELLENT food! Be warned: because we missed it- this is a market that does TAKE OUT ONLY! So, order ahead and pick up. I had the Jerk Chicken lunch- freaking FANTASTIC! My partner got a fish plate which was excellent as well. Staff nice, food good, order ahead!“

“The food here was absolutely delicious. I had the jerk chicken plate with rice and peas/cabbage. The chicken tasted amazing and had just enough spice. I also bought a side of carnival bread which was very tasty as well. The atmosphere was also nice, very dim and the staff who took my order was nice as well. I will definitely be coming back!“

“I took my gf here to celebrate life, a dinner experience. We were greeted warmly by our waitress, escorted to our seats, and seated promptly. the vibe was incredible! the restaurant is a hidden gem in DTLA. It is tucked away, and the staff was on point. the food was so fresh and tasty and the drinks were perfect. she loved it! we will visit again soon!“

“I had the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and the food was very good. Highly recommended - generous portions. The chicken was moist and very flavorful, as was the rice. The cabbage was perfect with the rice and chicken. Will definitely return.“
