The best boba tea in the US! I tried boba tea at the other places but nothing can beat this one. Chicha San Chen is still the best one on my list. The tea tastes so good and smells so nice. They use the quality tea with that special teapresso machine which makes the tea more flavorful. I like the way it is not too sweet like those other boba tea shops. Paid $8.30 for a tea, which felt steep. The service was quite slow waited nearly 15 minutes just to place the order and another 20-25 mins to receive it. We tried the seasonal grape oolong tea with konjac jelly, very fresh and flavorful. went with light sugar still too sweet for my taste. Overall, the tea was good, but considering the price and the wait, I wouldn’t go back a second time.
If you’re a boba lover, San Chen is definitely worth a try! The drinks here are on the pricier side, over $8 per cup and expect to wait about 20 minutes, especially since the place is always crowded. But the quality makes up for it.
Their Bubble Milk Tea is a must-try classic, rich, and perfectly balanced.
