Our family favorite in the town
Good tea and selection
Drink is amazing. Parking is a chaos. I’m glad they don’t work with major delivery vendors. 30% sugar&ice is perfect for topping lover. Got taro milk tea with jelly noodle was sooooo good.

I've really been into teas lately and actually prefer it over something like milk tea or anything with some kind of dairy. I really was looking forward to trying their Honey lemon green tea with green tea jelly. I have never heard of any other place that has the green tea jelly and was definitely unique for sure. I also tried the Osmanthus lemon tea with lychee jelly and this was definitely unique and you can really taste the quality. It does have a distinct flavor so you either like it or you don't. As for the honey lemon tea, i think next time I'm gonna ask for less sweet cuz it was a little too lemony for me but overall would get it again. They are very thorough when it comes to cleaning too, I watched them clean each drink nicely before sending it to the customer.

I genuinely initially thought the teas here were decent. (I've been here at least 3 times). But a recent experience made me not want to come here again. We went at 8:20 pm (group of 3 people) on Friday night. The service was super slow. We waited so long just for them to tell us that teas ran out. I am confused why they just didn't tell us they ran out at the beginning instead of having us wait for so long?
Imagine waiting more than 25 min to not even get the tea you wanted. The line wasn't even that long. I think only one other group was in front of us. (Maybe 4-5 people).

Update: management actually promptly reached out to me which caught me by surprise and explained that this is not their normal behavior. They usually would adjust the sugar level to customer’s satisfactory. They refunded me the drinks and said they had spoken to the worker which I very appreciate.
Updated my ratings based on the drink quality and interaction with their management.
Been coming to this place for a while now. Drinks are good, but last time I came I was so disappointed with the service. Got a tea with 50% sugar, but it tasted like 100%. I understand different stores have different sweetness standard, but it was not drinkable for me. I asked if they could help me fix the sweetness, they said they could only make it sweeter. I asked to him to pour some drink out and add ice or tea, and he told me he couldn’t do that.
Note that the store was not busy at all. Very disappointed and will not be coming back

I tried the Osmanthus Honey Oolong. Wow, it tastes so refreshing. It goes well with green tea jelly. The logo, the store sign and the design inside really feel like the 1980s.
There are parking lots and street parking available.

Solid for milk tea, efficient service, but not much parking in the lot - fortunately there's more parking right in the street that usually isn't much of a walk.
Parking: Small lot but ample free street parking.

The shopping center is cramped and almost unwelcoming (also good luck finding an open parking space) but inside the is clean and the friendly staff helped us decide drinks and sugar levels. There were only a few benches inside and out to wait for your drinks. Osmanthus-honey-sweetened oolong had a strong tea finish but more than 30% sweet might have been cloying. The mango mountain tea at 50% sweet was and excellent balance of tastes. Reasonably priced and quick service!

Small little shop boasting authentic teas from Taiwan.
They have a decent amount of options, and I settled for the Cocoa Crunchy, which I quite enjoyed.
The shop itself is quite small and trendy, but no spot to sit and hang out, just a waiting bench by the wall. More of an order and leave type of place.
Staff seemed friendly, but we ordered through the tablet kiosk.

Got ourselves the Peach Oolong, Pineapple Oolong, and Peach Smoothie. Really small store but I'm glad it wasn't busy when I came.
Pineapple Oolong was so freakin' heavenly. You can taste how strong the oolong is and it pairs well with the sweet pineapple marmalade they put in. There's also pineapple bits. One of the best oolong drinks I've ever had. This is a must visit in the area. They do specialize in oolong drinks.
The peach smoothie was not up to par with my expectation. It was 100% sweetness and it still wasn't sweet. On top of that, they put yogurt and jelly. The jelly was great but the drink needs more improvement.
I recommend getting their oolong drinks forsure. They advertise that they specialize on it. Believe it. Other drinks, order with caution.

Ordered the Hojicha Latte with less ice and 70% sugar. This is a good option if you want an immediate hit of intense tea in your drink. The sugar level is probably best as a little bit lower than 100% and less ice is good if you're having this on a non-summer day. It's also a visually appealing drink with a grayscale like effect in color as you mix it. This plaza is pretty busy on a main street so be patient with parking. Location appears busy even before closing but beware that some flavors and toppings may likely be sold out by then.
The only Chun Yang boba store in LA. My first experience with them was in New York and they never disappoint me.
Highlights of the menu:
1. ︎Peach oolong tea
2. ︎Oolong milk tea with grass jelly
3. ︎Osmanthus honey oolong tea
4. ︎Fresh milk with taro & sago
