Atmosphere doesn't feel like a typical restaurant, feels more like you're visiting extended family and they are serving you some homemade food. Friendly staff, while the burrito different than you'd get at a typical Mexican food place its pretty good.

The place it's good and friendly but that doesn't mean that they pay attention on what you ode,r they give you the wrong stuff or what they have left on witch to me that's what kills the good food. They should be more careful on lestening what us customers order and more carefully on completing the whole oder and checking everything its there when it's a pick up.even thought we have to check it we trust on the person that gets our oder that when he gives us the bag with our stuff that he has checked and went through the oder before he hands it to us . But I'll not waste my time and gas to go again I hope you have good luck .

Del Mar cafe is a family owned/operated restaurant, and was exactly what I was looking for. The decor is dated, the staff is friendly, and the food is what I image (as a white woman from the northeast) home cooked Mexican comfort food should be. The food was delicious, and I was a bit shocked I cleaned my plates!
