Authentic Sichuan cold pot fish with bold flavors and generous portions. The fish was tender, spicy, and delicious. Liangfen and braised platter were also great. Perfect spot in SGV for spicy food lovers!

Good and authentic but too spicy and oily for me. If you're from sichuan, you'll love it tho.

Tried the cold pot fish and was pleasantly surprised — thick fish slices, flavorful broth, and great aroma. Spice level is strong but not overwhelming. A hidden gem for Sichuan food lovers.

The best bullfrogs in so cal!!! I always get their large bullfrog every time I was there. Their dipping sauce is very tasty and goes perfectly with the meat. Portion is big and the price is reasonable.

Went here for lunch and they have a great deal for lunch special and good for 2 ppl. We ordered the fish pot and the fish was so fresh and tender. The roasted duck ChengDu style is my favorite! The service was great and we enjoyed dinning in.

I went right when they opened on a weekday, and it filled up fast—even saw tourists who came to LA just to eat here!
Cold Pot Fish
They have both spicy and non-spicy options, and the server was really helpful in recommending a spice level and fish type based on what you like—tender or firmer, bone-in or boneless. We tried the small portion of organic cold pot fish, which is freshly prepared. The fish was super fresh and silky, and their house-made dipping sauce took it to another level. The portion was generous and came loaded with sides like spam, tofu, bean sprouts, and cucumber strips, all soaked in that flavorful broth.
Chengdu Style Roast Duck
The duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy, not dry at all. It absorbed the broth nicely without being overly spicy. Really delicious with rice!
They’ve recently added holiday items like Sichuan-style sausages and cured meats that you can also buy to take home—perfect for Chinese New Year
Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and seriously tasty food. Whether you're a local or visiting LA, this spot is worth a visit!

Like this spot and it’s consistently good. The cold pot fish isn’t actually cold — the fish and broth are hot when served, just not kept boiling, which keeps the fish super tender. Lots of fresh black fish slices, very clean and flavorful.
Also loved the golden soup tofu beef — rich, tangy, and generous with the beef. Service was friendly and patient as always. Solid spot in SG that never disappoints.

My husband and I grew up on Asian cuisine, and we absolutely love it. Today we were lucky enough to visit Erwa Cold Pot Fish, an authentic Sichuan eatery. They picked some of their famous dishes for us: roasted duck and cold pot fish, plus rice and beaten cucumbers. Pure bliss! The flavor is truly authentic — not an Americanized version, but the real deal! Highly recommended.
The interior adds so much vibe, and the staff is incredibly nice.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in with some delicious and different dishes! 二娃冷鍋魚 is where traditional Chinese culinary craftsmanship meets innovative flavors. You are sure to find a few things on the menu you must have a me some you wanna try!
While the name is “cold fish” no cold fish is served, rather it is a style where the food is prepared in a pot in the kitchen and slightly cools as it is brought to the table as opposed to hot pot.
