My favorite place for traditional korean soups and stews. You can tell all the sides are home-made and can taste how rich the broths are. The portion sizes are also great for the price. Would highly recommend as one of the best Korean spots in the SGV.
I've been to plenty of Korean restaurants in Ktown but this place is way better. I loved the Bossam and Spicy Cold Noodles. The food is super clean and the service was excellent. I find myself coming by very often and everything I've tried so far has been delicious.
Nothing wrong with the service or venue, but man the food was disappointing.
You can get better soondae from the grocery store! We also got the gamjatang, naengmyun, galbitang, and spicy dwaeji gookbab (pork belly soup). I didn't have much of the first two, but the galbitang, was bland (better at Lee Ga in K-town), and the dwaeji gookbab was plain and lacking umami, somehow.
