Super cute spot, with goldfish in pond outside. They take care of their customers… but the best part was THE FOOD. High quality sushi (compliments to the chef) - well curated rolls. Just plain awesome spot.
Nice place to hang and watch the game, or drink with friends.

Waited 30 mins. Not one server greeted us or came up to us. A table was open but they didn't even bother to clean them after 10 mins.

Wanted to try a new place and I saw pictures of the food and thought it looks good. Went to try it out and just overall all the sushi taste great fresh sushi! They had fried softshell crab and that was one of the amazing dishes we had but everything we had tasted great! Definitely will come back!

We showed up on Saturday (memorial weekend) place was busy. Placed our name on the waitlist. I think at the most we waited 20 to 30 minutes. Kevin, our sever was awesome. He explained to me about certain items that were 86. He also explained to me that rolls and sushi might take a little longer than expected due to the busyness of the orders. Not a problem. Food came out before our rolls. Everything was delicious. Food and services was awesome. Sorry no pictures!

Excellent sushi, love the yellow collar and salmon collar. I've returned here several times already.
this is the best japanese restaurant i’ve ever been to. the price is amazing and the quality is unbeaten! the authenticity of the food and ambience of the restaurant is unforgettable.
We live in Pasadena, yet even with the abundant options in the city, we make the drive down for this spot. The premium sushi set (with bluefin, hamachi, belly, etc) is the best deal in town and the various options on the menu, from sanuki udon, to curry, to the donburi makes this place our go to for a great Japanese meal.

Came here last night and left with full satisfaction. Food was amazing, both sushi and Kushikatsu, which I think is unique to have both to be so good. To top it off, the service was on point, especially with the owner Mark who has a great charisma and love to make sure that his customers are satisfied with the whole experience. He can also speak fluently in both English and Japanese, so that’s a great plus for some folks. Definitely planning to come back again

This restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a warm, homely atmosphere. Owner Mark created an authentic Japenase experience, and the sushi and kushikatsu is prepared with genuine skill. High-quality food at a great price—highly recommended.

Chef was awesome, food was delicious, fresh and priced reasonably. The restaurant itself is fairly peaceful and the inside was nice. Servers were friendly and helpful. Maybe my new favorite sushi spot (and I’ve tried quite few in this area!)
Ordered the chicken katsu curry to go, which came with miso soup and the salad pictured.
Can’t say much on the service as I just picked it up but it didn’t have any utensils in the bag so that’s the only reason I docked a star. A large portion of food and decent.
Wasn’t very crispy and lacked a little bit of flavor but overall was enjoyable.

Casual Japanese restaurant with great quality and authentic flavor. Good pricing. This is the type of neighborhood restaurant that is worth a visit even if you’re not from the area. Nothing is particularly fancy here, interior, service, presentation, but the food speaks for itself!
