Ii really like how they have the chicken fried to order, and when I got my whole fried chicken, I like how they got a bunch of different seasoning powders to choose from, and I highly recommend the Sichuan peppercorn. It's got that numbing and spicy kick that's so refreshing!! The chicken was as crispy as the one I had in Rowland Heights~
I tried their New Orleans flavor chicken wings as well this time, the wings are marinated just right, but I still like the whole fried chicken best, it's a must-try!

This fried chicken store really takes you back to China with one bite! The fried chicken box is super cost-effective. Fried chicken lovers, hurry up!
The fried chicken box is quite large! There are 2 original recipe chicken and 2 chicken legs. Eating this fried chicken box alone can really make you very full. The chicken is very tender and the skin is very crispy, just like KFC in China! There are also many choices of dipping sauces. I like the sweet and spicy sauce the most. It's sweet and spicy and delicious.

I ordered the a 6 pc wings on their website, went to the store to pick up. When I get there, they told me they never got the order but the already charged my card. They wouldn’t provide a refund or make the wings. Instead told me to contact chow bus, (the store’s pos provider) for a refund. It is very unacceptable to tell customer to contact their pos provider for a refund. I still haven’t been able to reach chowbus. Please be aware when you ordered online, it might be a scam.

Highly recommend the chicken drumstick! It’s incredibly delicious. The chicken is tender and super juicy, with the perfect amount of seasoning. The chicken wrap is generously sized and very filling. As for the drinks, they’re also great. I especially recommend the grapefruit drink!

Hellooooo Chinese Fried Chicken!!
Hey Chicken serves up some of the most tender and juiciest Chinese-style fried chicken I've ever tasted. The moment you bite into their crispy exterior, you're greeted with an explosion of flavor and moisture. I love both their original and spicy wings/drumsticks!!
Definitely ask for their sauces - they have sweet chili, their signature "Hey Chicken" sauce, and ranch. While all are delicious, I found the combination of sweet chili and Hey Chicken sauce to be particularly addictive.
I've had my fair share of fried chicken, but this stuff is pretty great. I also LOVE that they give you gloves so you aren't eating with your bare hands and getting oil all over them.
Bottom line, if you're looking for yummy fried chicken that'll satisfy your cravings, Hey Chicken is the spot. Grab some friends, get a bunch of chicken, and go to town. You can thank me later.

Definitely recommend checking out this place! We made the trek out to SGV from Orange County, and everything was so good.
There's a private parking lot behind the restaurant, so you don't have to worry too much. It is a small parking lot though.
Service was excellent! The cashier took his time answering our questions and gave his recommendations. You can also order through the iPad as well.
With the iPad, you select the option of whether to dine in or to do take out. We opted for dine in. We asked the cashier what chicken sandwich was popular, and he recommended the spicy chicken sandwich. After going through the menu, we decided to order popcorn chicken, New Orleans chicken wings, and the cuttlefish ink whole fried chicken. We also got their mango green tea as our drink.
After placing our order, I'd say we probably only waited 15 minutes for our food.
Popcorn chicken: 4/5 - it's pretty hard to mess up popcorn chicken. They gave us seasoning, but I wish they had a sweet and sour sauce.
New Orleans chicken wing: 5/5 - the flavour was a nice sweet zingy flavour
Cuttlefish ink whole fried chicken: 4.5/5 - slightly salty flavour to it, but I couldn't put it down
Spicy chicken sandwich: 5/5 - my favorite! The chicken was sooo juicy. It was also a lot bigger than expected. My sister loved it as well.
Mango green tea: 4/5 - exactly how a mango green tea should taste like. Refreshing, light, and not too sweet (perfect for me because I'm trying to cut back on sweets lol)
Overall, service + food was 5/5 ☺️. I definitely would come back whenever I'm in the area. It also has late night hours so it's nice knowing I have that option for a late night snack!

Talk about a treat! I have not had a chicken sandwich in a very long time so it completely satisfied my craving!!! My oh my the chicken sandwich was so perfect. That first bite was so enjoyable. The Hey New Orleans chicken wings are also a must! It was so flavorful. I believe the show stopper was the Hey Golden Fried Chicken. The crispness was so fine! For a person who does not always eat fried food, this was truly an absolute treat and it made me absolutely so happy at every bite.
