The biggest problem was the service, all the servers were so rude, impatient and slow. They basically ignored all your requests after you placed the order. Yes, zero service! Some main issues:1. It was so hard to flag someone down (they played deaf even they saw and heard you)2. They messed up our order but never apologized, and what is worse, I think they intentionally charged more than they should (so make sure you double check)3. CASH ONLY and no receipts.4. They ask you to sit with other customers (we refused so we got to wait longer)Oh man. SMH.

I have been coming here with my family since I was little and the food never disappoints. They have a small parking lot and the restaurant can get pretty busy sometimes so I always park on the street around the corner. I got the beef ball noodle soup and it was so good. Their soup is always so good and flavorful.

Little mom and pop shop that's cash only. This place and Kim kee has the same exact noodle soup. Even their establishment name is almost the same. They have wet and dry noodles. Parking is available right outside. Looks like the people that eat here are mostly locals. Service is very good and quick.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to finally try out Kim Ky Noodle House. They're known for their classic noodle soups with various noodles to choose from.We ordered the #1 Assorted Meat & Shrimp with Flat Rice Noodles ($11) and #11 Beef Brisket Stew with Egg Noodles ($11.75). The first one was very light on the broth while the stew was more dense. Honestly, a combination of both of them makes the perfect balance. I did enjoy the stew one a bit more, but I just love braised beef, which were also very tender and juicy. Plus, they were out of pork kidney, so we were missing that element in the first bowl too. The waiters were a bit rude and quick to dismiss us, but that's also typical service at any Asian spot. We ended up getting the to-go containers ourselves. Either way, you can't go wrong with a nice, affordable bowl of noodle soup though. Note that it's cash only though!

Lunch on a weekday here can be really busy and loud. My group got seated pretty quickly. The service was a bit slow to get someone to take our order. If you get a noodle soup meal it comes out pretty quickly compared to everything else on the menu. Others in my group got their order about 5 min before I got my food. I've been here a few times and tried the diced filet mignon with black pepper sauce this time. The meat was cooked very well done and some charcoal was stuck to the meat. I've liked this dish at other places but I'm not going to order this again here. It's okay for what it is and I've noticed they're slowly increasing prices since when I first came here a couple years ago. I'd say skip it. I think other places on Valley Blvd are better.

Great to eat Vietnamese (Cho Lon) noodles. Not too much oily, but the taste is great. Try it out.

Kim Ky noodle house specializes in regional Chinese (Teochew/Chiu-Chow) Vietnamese fusion fare: the specialty noodle soups and stir fried beef over rice are some of their best sellers. I was craving Teochew/Chiu-Chow style noodle soup so off to Kim Ky I went. I ordered:-Assorted Seafood Noodle Soup: BLAND SOUP BROTH. No taste! The seasoning condiments on the table could NOT fix it. The actual seafood in the soup and noodles were GOOD and fresh! Tip: you order the "soup on the side" is my suggestion. - Fried Cruller (youtiao): Very good! Not too oily even though it was fried. -Filet Mignon cubes over rice: My son ate it and seemed to enjoy the dish. -Fried Fishcake: Very good. Made in house and tasted fresh. Overall Kim Ky was just okay. I think there are better Teochew/Chiuchow noodle houses that I personally prefer. -CASH ONLY-

Cash Only!! Kim Ky has such a flavorful broth for their noodle soup, while the broth is clear? Not sure how they make it happen, but it is definitely one of the most well balanced, flavorful noodle soups I've had.

Giving this place a 4/5 primarily for their youtiao and the rice cakes with eggs. The youtiao is so fresh, crunchy, and hot! I definitely ate this more than the noodles I ordered. I also really liked the rice cake with eggs because it was packed with flavor. I honestly miss eating that. The noodle soups here are pretty much the same as other Teochow places so I'm glad I'm not missing out. This place is cash only so remember to keep some cash on you before dining here!

Always delicious foodsMost time there is a 10-30 min waitGood enough service for an Asian restaurantI'd prefer this place over most pho places because pho is about $14+ per bowl, and this place is around $12 and with more variety.
